Hey all.
I'm going to be out of town for about a week. Please send in any submissions or join notices you may have; I'll take care of them when I get back! Until then!
CONTEST
This is a contest to help you, the artists, get more exposure, and for people out on the site to learn about this club and to draw interest to it.
This is a REFERRAL CONTEST. This means that what you must do is send notes to people, comment on deviations, anything, and let them know about the club of Railway. Make sure to tell them that if they decide to join, they should put YOUR NAME in the body of the 'join' note.
At the end of the month of August, the three members that referred the most people to the club will recieve:
- A one-month feature in the club journal
- A one-month feature in my personal journal at !KalbaxEcnailla
- THREE submissions per month instead of two
I saw another club doing this and thought it seemed like a good idea. There are some rules, however:
- Don't be rude. Just a simple, "Hey, I noticed your railroad deviation, maybe you'd be interested in joining this club..." will suffice.
- Don't 'join' the club with other personal accounts.
That's it! Let's try to get a little interest going in this club.
RULES
HOW TO JOIN:
- Read this journal
- Add the community to your watch-list
- Send a note with the subject line of "JOIN."
- Place a link to the club (or use the stamp) in your signature or journal
HOW TO SUBMIT:
- Send a note with the subject line of "SUBMISSION."
- In the note, please place a link to the deviation you wish to submit in NORMAL view (do not send links to full view, please!)
RULES
- Do not add anything on the community page to your favourites; always follow the link to the original deviation and the give the artist proper accolades.
- If you want to leave the community, please send a note titled LEAVE, and please give a brief explanation as to why.
- TWO submissions per week.
